Steve Krasner comes to ONLY CONNECT with extensive experience and education both inside and outside the construction industry. He is a Massachusetts licensed, master electrician.

Steve started in the construction industry in 1978, renovating houses. He learned the many sides of the industry working with small and large electrical contractors, union and non-union. Over time, he moved to larger residential work, retail, office buildings, and industrial plants. Steve taught labor-management relations to apprentices under the auspices of the University of Massachusetts and the Boston Council of Carpenters. He later established a successful construction employment and training program for the City of Chelsea Massachusetts.

Through much of the 1990s and early 2000s, Steve consulted to high tech start-ups and worked as product strategy executive for NetView Technologies, a Waltham-based software company. In 2003, he began to explore how to combine his high tech and electrical construction experience in a new company. Putting on his marketer's cap, Steve started talking with homeowners about electrical problems they face and what would solve their problems.

Steve founded ONLY CONNECT in 2003 to provide high quality service and to master the challenges of doing small projects successfully--an area that contractors large and small still avoid like the plague. The route to success became clear quite quickly: delight our customers; recruit smart, committed people; develop efficient systems and procedures; and keep overhead costs down. To paraphrase a simple old election theme, "It's about the service, stupid!"

Steve received his Bachelor's Degree in Art and Design from the MIT School of Architecture and his Masters Degree in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management. His Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license is #26363E. His Master Electrician license, under which ONLY CONNECT operates, is #12201A.
